The future hopes and dreams

CAM-FAN is gearing up for the future in many different ways. Our biggest plan is for the purchase and improvement of our property, funded by The Big Lottery Fund.

We now have Planning Permission for the work to proceed and are waiting for the Lottery to release the funds for the purchase. Then it's a case of waiting for the builders to start work. The plan is to make much better use of our space. On completion of the work we will have a pleasant reception area, larger office space, improved kitchen and dining room, client's lounge and coffee bar, craft area, therapy room, shower room and meeting room.

When funding permits we will return to 7 days a week opening. We also hope to  open outreach centres in two local villages, bring in our own cognative therapist, set up a telephone help-line for out-of-hours contact. Maybe even organise mini-breaks - possibly with our own mini-bus - for our clients.
